It’s just not worth my full time and effort but I’m managing what I can :’) Instagram and twitter have both plateaued/fluctuated for years for me so I don’t know if I’m reaching people, let alone those who kindly follow me. Or they don’t care for what you post/say/do. Personally I don’t miss the mixed, sad feeling like you’re at a social event/town square and it turns out you’re mostly talking to yourself as people walk/scroll past you without a second thought and go for the hot takes/toxic drama/discussion/popular/entertaining/educational people. People, artists around the world and companies felt accessible there (in a distant, online kind of way). It’s where I have my largest (but most are not engaged) audience and how I’ve met many gamedev people before I reverted back into a hermit. I’m kind of sad that Twitter is dying – for the few good things. With a minimalistic and polygon-like style, the game presents an aesthetic midway between Frogger and Minecraft.Ĭrossy Road is a reinvention of the classic Frogger that adds a new layer to Konami's 1981 hit, and in doing so manages to offer a fresh and fun experience that's perfectly adapted to touch screens.Had to search for artist/peeps elsewhere, figuring out Mastodon & Cohost and I don’t know how long twitter is going to be around :’) One of Crossy Road's strong points, in fact, is its charming graphic quality. They don't any have particular special abilities, but some of them do look quite cool. Your aim is to try to get as far as you can, avoiding cars, trucks, and trains that pass on the highways.Īlong the way you'll not only find dangers, but also, here and there, coins you can use to buy new animals to take across the roads. Gameplay in Crossy Road is very simple: tap the screen and your cute little animal will make a jump ahead, and slide your finger to one side or the other to move him sideways. Crossy Road is an arcade game inspired by the classic Frogger where you have to try to guide an animal across a series of streets full of traffic and other dangers.
